Aesthetic Treatments, Fillers, Juvederm, Juvederm Voluma
I’ve gotten chin filler injections two or three times, and while the first time was a bit nerve-wracking, I became more comfortable with the procedure over time. I see a practitioner I trust, which makes a huge difference. The results really help balance my profile, and they last longer than most people suggest—often over a year and a half, possibly more.
If you’re considering this procedure, I highly recommend starting with a conservative amount. Fillers don’t dissolve as quickly as some claim, so you might not need much. In fact, after your first time, you may find that you only need a touch-up with less than half a syringe. It’s crucial to avoid overfilling to minimize risks like migration and potential blockage of lymph nodes.
Despite the risks, I really like how chin filler enhances my facial proportions, so I plan to continue getting it done. However, I’m cautious and plan to space out treatments as much as possible—ideally every two years or more—in an attempt to minimize any side effects. This approach will hopefully helpsme enjoy the benefits while being careful about potential downsides.
