As a petite person with a little extra padding around my midsection, I was looking for ways to visibly reduce my fat with little to no downtime. Healthy eating and exercise had only gotten me so far, and I was promised amazing results with Coolsculpting. I had CoolSculpting done after being told it would permanently reduce stubborn fat in targeted areas. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Despite following all pre- and post-treatment instructions carefully, I saw little to no visible change even after several months. The procedure itself was more uncomfortable than described (almost unbearable at times) and I experienced significant swelling and tenderness afterward.
When I reached out to the clinic for follow-up support, I felt dismissed and told to “give it more time”, or that I “might need more sessions”. After spending a considerable amount of money, I’m left feeling frustrated and regretful. I wish I had researched more deeply beforehand — the results simply didn’t match the marketing claims.
If you’re considering CoolSculpting, I recommend being cautious, setting realistic expectations, and understanding that results can vary widely. Knowing what I know now, I would have chosen a different procedure (even surgical) that would have given me long lasting results for the considerable amount of money that was spent.
