I experienced very slight bruising, which is normal, and it faded after a few days, leaving me with beautifully plump lips. I opted for just half a syringe because I prefer a natural look, and the results were exactly what I hoped for, enhancing my facial proportions in a subtle way.

The effects of the filler lasted about a year, and I really loved how I looked during that time. I’d definitely consider doing it again, especially because I have someone I trust implicitly to perform the procedure. However, I’m cautious about making lip fillers a regular thing. I’ve read about potential long-term effects, such as fillers blocking the lymphatic system, which is responsible for removing toxins from the body. I don’t want to disrupt my body’s natural balance, so I’m not inclined to make this a recurring treatment.
