Cupping has been one of the instrumental treatments to help my migraines and upper back pain. I do the fire cupping (tried the suction and it just wasn’t the same). My sessions are typically about 20 minutes long and that’s really all it takes. My trapezius muscles being tense tend to trigger my migraines. So when I feel like I’m getting recurrent migraines I try to fit in a cupping session. It does leave bruising that goes away within a week but it’s not painful.
