As an African American woman, I’ve often found myself searching multiple platforms to find reliable information about treatments and products tailored to my unique skin and hair needs. Frustratingly, the results were often sparse, leaving me with just one or two viable sources—or worse, sponsored content that didn’t align with my characteristics or concerns.

They say if you can’t find what you’re looking for, build it. That’s exactly why I created Sonderbeaut. This platform was born out of both frustration and a desire to create a community where people from all walks of life can share their experiences with beauty and wellness treatments.
