Skin Treatments, Laser, Clear & Brilliant

Age: 25-35 Gender: Female Skin tone: Mocha Skin Skin type: Oily Skin condition:

The clear and brilliant was one of the first laser treatments I did and the benefits I saw were mainly a boost in collagen. My skin would look more plump and the skin tone would be more even. The treatment itself is pretty prickly. I numb for 30-45 minutes. You could numb for an hour and feel even less pain. Forehead and upper lip tends to be the worst area to treat. Frontalis is definitely painful, for me the upper lip numbs quickly so it’s not too painful there. The laser resurfaces the skin, I do the 1440 wavelength for a deeper treatment that builds collagen and helps with wrinkles and enlarged pores in the skin. The treatment is also great for absorbing serums and skincare that’s safe for post-treatment. I typically will use TNS Advanced serum growth factors of vitamin C at dark spots. The downtime is usually a week and by day 3 I start to get a sandpaper-y feel with a “coffee ground” appearance throughout my face. This typically flakes off at around day 5-7 with a reveal of glowy, smooth skin. I find that at the two to three week mark my skin looks even better! The downside to clear and brilliant is that if you have a lot of texture it may take some time to see drastic results but I use it more to maintain my skin texture and I see the results I’m looking for from it.
