What personal data we collect and why we collect it

On this site we collect personal data such as name, age, race, email address, date of birth, username, personal account preferences, password, geolocation, transactional data, technical data (such as information about cookies). Pictures uploaded and any information added to account may be stored. While on this site, any documentation will be recorded including data that may be sensitive, such as data concerning health. This information may be stored until further notice unless asked not to by user, in that case information will be stored in an anonymous format. Personal data is generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third party embeds. All of this information is recorded and stored. User may opt out of selling or sharing personal information.

We are looking to create a community in which wellness, beauty and lifestyle fanatics can communicate with each other and compare notes on products and services in these fields. In order to create that community, we must collect all personal data documented by users to find patterns in characteristics people share. By doing so, we are creating our own research with a large database relying on subjective information. This will help us and users find what likely works for people with similar characteristics.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. All comments documented by user will be recorded and stored on website for everyone to see. Users will be able to click on comment and see who has commented per profile icon and username. User will have ability to delete comment(s). **Comment may still be visible to company on back end.**

Media

All uploaded files will be publicly accessible to everyone unless specified otherwise on account. Sonderbeaut will store photos to database. “If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.”

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Besides Google Analytics, as of now there is no third party providers with whom we share site data, including partners, cloud-based services, payment processors, and third party service providers. However, in the future we do plan to work with third party provider whether it be through payment collection or sharing site data information which will typically be general information (for example 50% of asian americans with oily skin type documented on this site tolerate tretinoin 1%). By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
